Welcome to Living with the Light’s. We created this blog long ago for reasons I can’t remember, but that doesn’t matter. What matters is what it is now, and what it is now is a collection of random thoughts, conversations, and pictures from our lives. We’ve had people tell us they would watch a reality show on our lives, but I don’t why, we’re pretty boring–we’re a happily married couple living in the burbs of Charlotte, NC with our English bulldog, Berkeley.
There are a few things that are interesting though, like Brooke.
Brooke always said she wanted to be funny, but it wasn’t in the cards.
“Men are funny, women aren’t, that’s just how it is.”
I disagree. I think Brooke is hilarious (as are many other women), she just tends to be funny when other people aren’t around, also it’s often unintentional.
I’ve decided to collect some of Brooke’s thoughts and conversations with me here, as well as some things our dog does, because he’s also unintentionally funny. It’s like a reality show of our lives, minus the drama, commercials, and the boring bits. Just little tidbits of Light family silliness. Enjoy.
